Pray for Las Vegas

Hi,

You probably have heard of the terrible events in Las Vegas on Sunday night. I was not on site, nor were my family, so was out of harms way. However, I can't think of a single person I know here who doesn't know someone effected by this horrible attack.

With that said, I am absolutely impressed, but not surprised, by the outpouring of love from our community. If you want to donate blood, you have to make an appointment several days in advance because they are full up. If you want to donate food to first responders or other volunteers, you can't, because they have received more than they know what to do with. In the attack itself, people gave of themselves heroically to help the person next to them.

Please keep Las Vegas and its people in your thoughts and prayers. This is a scary thing for people to process, but we will get through it, and will be stronger on the other side.

Love and gratitude,

Brad
